Today’s post will be a quick one.
I just wanted to share an article my wife shared with me yesterday from the Duluth News Tribune.
The article talked about a study from the University of Michigan that found getting outside for 20 or more minutes, at least three times per week, can greatly reduce levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
I can attest to how much better I feel after getting out for a trail run, a hike in the woods, or simply a family picnic in Jay Cooke. And there really are no excuses living in the Duluth area…so many city/state parks, the Lakewalk, and of course the Superior Hiking Trail.

I’d step it up a notch and suggest getting outside every day 🙂
Have a great week and get outside!!
