Ever since my first experience on a LightSpeed Lift system about a year ago, I knew it would change (and already was changing) people’s lives.

What the LightSpeed Lift is and what it does makes immediate sense to anybody who sees it in action. Using an adjustable frame set over the top of a treadmill, support cords, and compression shorts, the walker, runner, athlete or patient is “lightly lifted” or partially suspended over the treadmill.

This allows those who are injured, rehabbing, or in need of lower impact to walk, jog, run, or sprint at a reduced body weight.  The more the lift, the lower the impact for the user.  This makes it ultra-applicable as a professional tool used in the clinic, the gym, or even your own home!

LightSpeed Lift is truly for EVERYONE! Those who are relearning to walk after knee surgery, runners wanting to recover with less stress while still running, or high-performance athletes in search of the highest velocity training can all equally benefit from time on the LightSpeed – it is a versatile invention.  By “lifting” from the hip, it’s able to provide an unrivaled user experience that improves mechanics, performance, and longevity.

LightSpeed has also recently been proven to make people feel happy while they exercise. In my opinion, this is a game-changer. As most of us know (or have personally experienced), it’s sometimes difficult to follow an exercise program because it may not feel good while exercising. However, if you’re happy, you are more likely to continue doing it (*shocker!*). Creating healthy habits is crucial to living a healthy lifestyle, and this Lift system is able to help people create those habits – contributing to long-term happiness in the community (which just happens to be duluthrunner.com’s mission). As I mentioned in the opening sentence, LightSpeed is changing people’s lives!

Another source of pride we can all take part in is that LightSpeed Lift is entirely based in our community: invented, manufactured, and distributed right here in the Twin Ports!
