Another round of Monday Motivation!
Today’s motivation is about Chris Nikic. Chris is the first person with Down syndrome to complete a full Ironman triathlon (and he just ran the Boston Marathon as well)! He also just came out with a book called 1% Better: Reaching My Full Potential and How You Can Too – I have not read this book yet, but it’s on my list to tackle!
I love how he and his dad approached training by simply doing a little more each day. This allowed Chris to avoid injury, build slowly, maintain consistency, and keep things fun – all vital aspects of successful training towards our goals!
