As mentioned in my previous post, I recently took our kids on a winter camping trip in our new Morzh Max hot tent (this is the site I purchased from) – we really enjoyed our 3 day, 2 night trip!
I figured I would share several more photos from our trip, in addition to a quick video walk-through of the tent all set up!
Some additional highlights of the tent include:
- Morzh tents have a waterproof 3-layer fabric that holds heat longer, a three-layer material that is patented and can only be used in their tents.
- At the point of contact with the chimney (stove jack opening in the roof of the tent), the tent can withstand temperatures of up to 500 degrees (thanks to a special metal ring and silicone coating).
- Eternal duralumin frame. The frame of the tent is made of alloy D16T – an alloy of aluminum with magnesium and copper. Such alloys are called duralumin — used as structural alloys in the aviation and space industry, due to their strength and relative lightness.
- Transparent film window. Thermopolyuritic film is a modern eco-friendly material capable of withstanding heavy loads, while maintaining flexibility in the cold.
Please reach out if you have any questions about my experience with this tent – I’m more than happy to answer them!
Have fun everyone and be sure to get outside this winter, whether that’s winter camping or a quick walk around the neighborhood!
